Andean Legends of Inti

"May the Sun remain a young man and the Moon a young woman,
may the world not turn over,
let there be Peace"

-- An Inca Prayer --

The Lost Realms
Zecharia Sitchin

Excerpted ~ There had indeed been an Old World type civilization in the Andes circa 24000 BC. Completely ignored by scholars as a valid clue has been the repeated statement in the Andean legends that there occurred a frightening darkness in long-ago times. No one has wondered whether this was the same darkness—the non-appearance of the sun when it was due—of which the Mexican legends speak in the tale of Teotihuacan and it’s pyramids. For if there had indeed been such a phenomenon, that the sun failed to rise and the night was endless, then it would have been observed throughout the Americas.

The Mexican collective recollections and the Andean ones seem to corroborate each other on this point, and thus uphold the veracity of each other, as two witnesses to the same event.

But if even this is not convincing enough, we will call upon The Bible in evidence, and upon none other than Joshua to be the witness.

According to Montesinos and other chroniclers, the most unusual event took place in the reign of Titu Yupanqui Pachacuti II, the fifteenth monarch in Ancient Empires times. It was in the third year of his reign, when "good customs were forgotten and people were given to all manner of vice," that "there was no dawn for twenty hours." In other words, the night did not end when it usually does and sunrise was delayed for twenty hours. After a great outcry, confession of sins, sacrifices, and prayers, the sun finally rose.

This could not have been an eclipse: it was not that the shining sun was obscured by a shadow. Besides, no eclipse lasts so long, and the Peruvians were cognizant of such periodic events. The tale does not say that the sun disappeared; it says that it did not rise—"there was no dawn"-- for twenty hours.

It was as though the sun, wherever it was hiding, suddenly stood still.

If the Andean recollection is true, then somewhere else—on the opposite side of the world—the DAY had to last just as long, not ending when it should have ended, but lasting some twenty hours longer.

Incredibly, such an event is recorded, and in no better place than in The Bible itself. It was as the Israelites, under the leadership of Joshua, had crossed the Jordan River into their Promised Land and had successfully taken the fortified cities of Jericho and Ai. It was then that all the Amorite kings formed an alliance to put up a combine force against the Israelites. A great battle unsued in the valley of Ajalon, near the city of Gibeon. It began with an Israelite night attack that put the Canaanites into flight. By sunrise, as the Canaanite forces regrouped near Beth-Horon, the Lord God cast down great stones from Heaven upon them…and they died; there were more of them who had died from the hailstones than those who the Israelites slew with the sword.

Then Joshua spoke to Yahweh
On the day when Yahweh delivered the Amorites
into the children of Israel, saying:

"In the sight of the Israelites
let the sun stand still in Gibeon
and the Moon in the valley of Ajalon."

And the sun stood still and the Moon stayed
Until the people had avenged themselves of the enemies
Indeed, it is all written in the Book of Jashar
The sun stood still in the midst of the skies
And it hastened not to go down
about a whole day.

Scholars have struggled for generations with this tale in Chapter 10 of the Book of Joshua. Some discount it as mere fiction, others see in it echoes of a myth; still others seek to explain it in terms of an unusually prolonged eclipse of the sun. But are not only such long eclipses unknown; the tale does not speak of the disappearance of the sun. On the contrary, it relates to an event when the sun continued to be seen, to hang on in the skies, for—"about a whole day"—say, twenty hours?

The incident, whose uniqueness is recognized in The Bible ("There was no day like that before or after"), taking place on the opposite side of the Earth relative to the Andes, thus describes a phenomenon that was the opposite of what had happened in the Andes. In Canaan, the sun did not set for some twenty hours; in the Andes, the sun did not rise for the same length of time.

Do not the two tales, then, describe the same event
and by coming from different sides of the Earth attest to its factuality?

What the occurrence was is still a puzzle. The only Biblical clue is the mention of the great stones falling from the skies. Since we know that the tales describe not a standstill by the sun (and Moon), but a disruption of the Earth’s rotation on it's axis, a possible explanation is that a comet had come too close to Earth disintegrating in the process. Since some comet’s orbit the sun in a clockwise direction that is opposite to the orbital direction of the Earth and the other planets, such a kinetic force could have conceivably counteracted temporarily the Earth’s rotation and slowed it down.

Whatever the precise cause of the phenomenon, what we are concerned with here is it’s timing. The generally accepted date for The Exodus has been the thirteenth century BC (circa 1230 BC) and scholars who argued for a date earlier by some two centuries found themselves in a minority.

The Case of Adam's Alien Genes

Zacharia Sitchin

In whose image was The Adam - the prototype of modern humans, Homo sapiens - created? The Bible asserts that the Elohim said: "Let us fashion the Adam in our image and after our likeness." But if one is to accept a tentative explanation for enigmatic genes that humans possess, offered when the deciphering of the human genome was announced in mid-February, the feat was decided upon by a group of bacteria! "Humbling" was the prevalent adjective used by the scientific teams and the media to describe the principal finding - that the human genome contains not the anticipated 100,000 - 140,000 genes (the stretches of DNA that direct the production of amino-acids and proteins) but only some 30,000+ -- little more than double the 13,601 genes of a fruit fly and barely fifty percent more than the roundworm's 19,098. What a comedown from the pinnacle of the genomic Tree of Life! Moreover, there was hardly any uniqueness to the human genes. They are comparative to not the presumed 95 percent but to almost 99 percent of the chimpanzees, and 70 percent of the mouse. Human genes, with the same functions, were found to be identical to genes of other vertebrates, as well as invertebrates, plants, fungi, even yeast. The findings not only confirmed that there was one source of DNA for all life on Earth, but also enabled the scientists to trace the evolutionary process, how more complex organisms evolved, genetically, from simpler ones, adopting at each stage the genes of a lower life form to create a more complex higher life form, culminating with Homo sapiens.

The "Head-scratching" Discovery

It was here, in tracing the vertical evolutionary record contained in the human and the other analyzed genomes that the scientists ran into an enigma. The "head-scratching discovery by the public consortium," as Science termed it, was that the human genome contains 223 genes that do not have the required predecessors on the genomic evolutionary tree. How did Man acquire such a bunch of enigmatic genes? In the evolutionary progression from bacteria to invertebrates (such as the lineages of yeast, worms, flies or mustard weed - which have been deciphered) to vertebrates (mice, chimpanzees) and finally modern humans, these 223 genes are completely missing in the invertebrate phase. Therefore, the scientists can explain their presence in the human genome by a "rather recent" (in evolutionary time scales) "probable horizontal transfer from bacteria." In other words: At a relatively recent time as Evolution goes , modern humans acquired an extra 223 genes not through gradual evolution, not vertically on the Tree of Life, but horizontally, as a sideways insertion of genetic material from bacteria… An Immense Difference Now, at first glance it would seem that 223 genes is no big deal. In fact, while every single gene makes a great difference to every individual, 223 genes make an immense difference to a species such as ours. The human genome is made up of about three billion neucleotides (the "letters" A-C-G-T which stand for the initials of the four nucleic acids that spell out all life on Earth); of them, just a little more than one percent are grouped into functioning genes (each gene consists of thousands of "letters"). The difference between one individual person and another amounts to about one "letter" in a thousand in the DNA "alphabet." The difference between Man and Chimpanzee is less than one percent as genes go; and one percent of 30,000 genes is 300. So, 223 genes is more than two thirds of the difference between me, you and a chimpanzee! An analysis of the functions of these genes through the proteins that they spell out, conducted by the Public Consortium team and published in the journal Nature, shows that they include not only proteins involved in important physiological but also psychiatric functions. Moreover, they are responsible for important neurological enzymes that stem only from the mitochondrial portion of the DNA - the so-called "Eve" DNA that humankind inherited only through the mother-line, all the way back to a single "Eve." That finding alone raises doubt regarding that the "bacterial insertion" explanation.

A Shaky Theory

How sure are the scientists that such important and complex genes, such an immense human advantage, was obtained by us-"rather recently"-through the courtesy of infecting bacteria? "It is a jump that does not follow current evolutionary theories," said Steven Scherer, director of mapping of the Human Genome Sequencing Center, Baylor College of Medicine. "We did not identify a strongly preferred bacterial source for the putative horizontally transferred genes," states the report in Nature. The Public Consortium team, conducting a detailed search, found that some 113 genes (out of the 223) "are widespread among bacteria" - though they are entirely absent even in invertebrates. An analysis of the proteins which the enigmatic genes express showed that out of 35 identified, only ten had counterparts in vertebrates (ranging from cows to rodents to fish); 25 of the 35 were unique to humans. "It is not clear whether the transfer was from bacteria to human or from human to bacteria," Science quoted Robert Waterson, co-director of Washington University's Genome Sequencing Center, as saying. But if Man gave those genes to bacteria, where did Man acquire those genes to begin with?

THE ROLE OF THE AUNNAKI

Readers of my books must be smiling by now, for they know the answer. They know that the biblical verses dealing with the fashioning of The Adam are condensed renderings of much much more detailed Sumerian and Akkadian texts, found inscribed on clay tablets, in which the role of the Elohim in Genesis is performed by the Anunnaki - "Those Who From Heaven to Earth Came." As detailed in my books, beginning with The 12th Planet (1976) and even more so in Genesis Revisited and The Cosmic Code, the Anunnaki came to Earth some 450,000 years ago from the planet Nibiru - a member of our own solar system whose great orbit brings it to our part of the heavens once every 3,600 years. They came here in need of gold, with which to protect their dwindling atmosphere. Exhausted and in need of help in mining the gold, their chief scientist Enki suggested that they use their genetic knowledge to create the needed Primitive Workers. When the other leaders of the Anunnaki asked: How can you create a new being? He answered: "The being that we need already exists; all that we have to do is put our mark on it." The time was some 300,000 years ago. What he had in mind was to upgrade genetically the existing hominids, who were already on Earth through Evolution, by adding some of the genes of the more advanced Anunnaki. That the Anunnaki, who could already travel in space 450,000 years ago, possessed the genomic science (whose threshold we have now reached) is clear not only from the actual texts but also from numerous depictions in which the double-helix of the DNA is rendered as Entwined Serpents (a symbol still used for medicine and healing) -- see illustration 'A' below. When the leaders of the Anunnaki approved the project (as echoed in the biblical "Let us fashion the Adam"), Enki with the help of Ninharsag, the Chief Medical Officer of the Anunnaki, embarked on a process of genetic engineering, by adding and combining genes of the Anunnaki with those of the already-existing hominids. When, after much trial and error breathtakingly described and recorded in antiquity, a "perfect model" was attained, Ninharsag held him up and shouted: "My hands have made it!" An ancient artist depicted the scene on a cylinder seal (illustration 'B'). And that, I suggest, is how we had come to possess the unique extra genes. It was in the image of the Anunnaki, not of bacteria, that Adam and Eve were fashioned.

A Matter of Extreme Significance

Unless further scientific research can establish, beyond any doubt, that the only possible source of the extra genes are indeed bacteria, and unless it is then also determined that the infection ("horizontal transfer") went from bacteria to Man and not from Man to bacteria, the only other available solution will be that offered by the Sumerian texts millennia ago. Until then, the enigmatic 223 alien genes will remain as an alternative and as a corroboration by modern science of the Anunnaki and their genetic feats on Earth .

Are you an Rh Negative blood type? If so you could be a decendent of the ancient astronauts themselves!

About a year and a half ago my sister Bonnie and I were discussing some of the unusual characteristics of our family. Bonnie had a problem with infants haemolytic disease. She has 0 negative blood. She has written a book including this problem called "The Deux" by Venus Thaddeus. One of the questions we asked was why does this haemolytic disease occur? Why, along with the Rh negative blood does our family have such a high IQ (135-140 average). Why so many psychic experiences? Why this urge to ask "why?" Why the early maturity or the large head and eyes? Why have, we always felt we were "different" from other people. And so many other things to set us apart.

We were raised in the church, but we never received answers to the questions we asked. Why doesn't anyone else ask these same questions? We are not satisfied with the answer "just because". Are there others out there who ask the same questions? Then we heard about the possibility of the ancient astronauts and the pieces started to fall into place.

For the past decade many people have been working to prove that the earth has been visited by extraterrestrial beings. Who are these visitors? Why did they come? Why did they leave? Did they leave?

If earth was visited in the ancient past, are there any descendants of these visitors? If all mankind are not descendants of these visitors, which ones are? Who are the "Children of Israel?" Why was their seed blessed? Why were they told not to inter-marry with other people and to circumcise their sons for identification? Why were they told to preserve their geneology? Where did Adam and Eve's sons go to get their wives, if they were the only "humans" on earth?

Many scientists believe that modern man evolved from ape-like primates. They have much proof to back up their theories, including modern blood analysis and comparative studies between modern man and lower anthripoids, such as the chimpanzee and the Rhesus monkey.

It has been proven that the majority of mankind (85%) has a blood factor common with the rhesus monkey. This is called rhesus positive blood. Usually shortened to Rh positive. This factor is completely independent from the A, B, 0 blood types.

In the study of genetics, we find that we can only inherit what our ancestors had except in the case of mutation. We can have any of numerous combinations of traits inherited from all our ancestors. Nothing more and nothing less. Therefore, if man and ape evolved from a common ancestor, their blood would have evolved the same way. Blood factors are transmitted with much more exactitude than any other characteristic. It would seem that modern man and rhesus monkey may have had a common ancestor sometime in the ancient past. All other earthly primates also have this Rh factor. But this leaves out the people who are Rh negative. If all mankind evolved from the same ancestor their blood would be compatible. Where did the Rh negatives come from? If they are not the descendants of prehistoric man, could they be the descendants of the ancient astronauts?

All animals and other living creatures known to man can breed with any other of their species. Relative size and color makes no difference. Why does infant's haemolytic disease occur in humans if all humans are the same species? Haemolytic disease is the allergic reaction that occurs when an Rh negative mother is carrying a Rh positive child. Her blood builds up antibodies to destroy an ALIEN substance (the same way it would a virus), thereby destroying the infant. Why would a mother's body reject her own offspring? Nowhere else in nature does this occur naturally. This same problem does occur in mules - a cross between a horse and donkey. This fact alone points to the distinct possibility of a cross-breeding between two similar but genetically different species.

No one has tried to explain where the Rh negative people came from. Most, familar with blood factors, admit that these people must at least be a mutation if not descendants of a different ancestor. If we are a mutation, what caused the mutation? Why does it continue with the exact characteristics? Why does it so violently reject the Rh factor, if it was in their own ancestory? Who was this ancestor? Difficulties in determining ethnology are largely overcome by the use of blood group data, for they are a single gene characteristic and not affected by the environment.

The Basque people of Spain and France have the highest percentage of Rh negative blood. About 30% have (rr) Rh negative and about 60% carry one (r) negative gene. The average among most people is only 157%-Rh negative, while some groups have very little. The Oriental Jews of Israel, also have a high percent Rh negative, although most other Oriental people have only about 1% Rh negative. The Samaritians and the Black Cochin Jew also have a high percentage of Rh negative blood, although again the Rh negative blood is rare among most black people.

Could the Basque people be one of these colonies? Or could it have been the original colony on earth? The origin of the Basques is unknown. Their language is unlike any other European language. Some believe that Basque was the original language of the book of Genesis. Some believe it was the original language of the world and possibly of the creator.

Genesis 6:2 "The sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and took them wives, all of which they chose." Who were the children of these marriages? Genesis 6:4 "God came into the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, and the same became mighty of old." From the King James Bible dictionary we find: "menchildren - men of Israel, male children of God, not children of man - Ex. 34:23." Ex. 34:7 states "The iniquity of the father will be unto the children unto the fourth generation." It is plain that something is inherited, could it be the blood?

Blood is mentioned more often than any other word in the Bible, except God. These two words you will find on almost every page, blood and God! (The blood of the Gods?) This message has been written for thousands of years. There is a connection between the blood and the Gods.

The American Indians had the tradition of making good friends, "blood brothers", if they thought they were worthy. Could this tradition.have been for a reason? Could they have actually been checking to see if they were blood brothers (the same type blood)? The clumping (aggulation) that occurs when Rh positive and Rh negative blood are mixed is visible to the naked eye. Could they have been told, by their ancestors, that their blood was different from that of the rest of mankind except for their brothers and sisters, from other tribes, scattered throughout the earth. Indian tradition declares that their ancestors were of cosmic origin. The Indian totem pole is actually a family genealogy.

Why all this preoccupation with genealogy among different people scattered throughout the earth? No other animal on earth has this preoccupation with ancestory. Where did this tradition come from? People scattered throughout the earth, who have had no-known contact with each other all simultaneously got the urge to chart their family tree. Why? How important could this have been to primitive cave men? Struggling to survive, to chart their genealogy? They had no understanding of modern genetics and inheritance. So why should they preserve their genealogy? Were they told, by the ancient astronauts, to preserve their heritage, until a future date when they would return and it would be understood? Until a time, like now, when their descendent would be able to understand the message they were leaving.

Although they probably didn't realize the importance of preserving their genealogy, they were told that future generations would understand. Are we that future generation? Was there a message left for us to understand? Do we have the courage to look for the answer?

Do we really want to know or would we rather keep our heads buried in the sand? What we don't know will still affect us. You will not see unless you look. Only through knowledge will we find truth. I have searched, in vain, for scientific proof that the Rh negative blood was a natural earthly occurrence. Instead I have found proof that the Rh negative had not evolved on earth in the natural course of events. For many years people have been searching for the wrong thing. Could the true "missing link" actually be man himself? The unknown link between earth and the stars - hybrid man. Man may be the missing link between primate and extraterrestrial. It seems inconceivable to me that those working on the evolution theory have overlooked this possibility. How can they state, that these people are lacking a factor contained in all other earthly primates, including the naked ape, and not ask why? What other characteristics are common among these people that are uncommon to other people? Is there a real difference other than just a different blood?

A very good comparative study between man and the primates can be found in Max Flindt's book "Mankind, Child of the Stars," Fawcett publisher, Books 1 and 2. He has documented many of the characteristics we may have received from our cosmic ancestors. It does show quite conclusively that mankind is a hybrid between our cosmic ancestor and our earth ancestor. I have merely carried this idea to its logical conclusion. If mankind is a hybrid descendant of the ancient' astronauts, surely there would be some, appearing periodically, who would be genetically very similar to them. Would this not include their psychic powers? Could the great sleeping prophet, Edgar Cayce, have been one of these? Could Jesus Christ also have been one of these? A true descendant of the ancient astronauts. If he was a true genetic duplicate of them he would also have their powers and possibly their knowledge. I cannot say whether he was born with this knowledge or whether he established psyphic communication with our cosmic family, but it is plain that he had powers far beyond those of mortal man. Could he have been an example of what the ancient astronauts were like? Jesus stated that the Father and him were one. Could he have actually meant that literally? He may have been an exact duplicate of his (our) ancient Father.

He may have even been a clone of the cosmonauts. Everyone knows the story of his virgin birth and the heavenly intervention. Could this have been implanting a clone into Mary's sterilized egg? Could the whole egg have actually been an implant?

The Rh negative blood, which appears not to have originated on earth, may prove to be a major factor in proving mankind is a hybrid. It is not the whole answer but it is a key for unlocking the genetic puzzle of our heritage. Tissue factors will also prove to be quite revealing. Scientists are now able to determine the tissue factors of 5000 year old mummies. Could some of these mummies have been the ancient astronauts? Why were these mummies preserved well enough for us to analyze their blood and tissue factors? Could there be a message in the genetic factors of the mummies themselves?

There is an interesting fact found in the book "X-Raying the Pharaohs" by James Harris and Kent Weeks, 1973 (Scribners). Upon x-raying the tomb of Makare, high priestess of Ammon, it was found that the infant buried with her labeled Prince Moutenihet was actually a female hamadryas baboon. An examination of Makare showed she had given birth shortly before dying. Could she have given birth to the baboon found with her? Why else would it have been buried with her? A genetic throwback?

My research has shown that the majority of those with psychic powers also have Rh negative blood. Most psyphic and faith healers also have this blood. Strangely enough, many of those doing research into the ancient astronaut theory and other phenomea also have Rh negative blood.

Erich von Daniken has Rh negative blood and a thirst for the truth. Brad Steiger also has Rh negative blood. His new book "Gods of Aquarius" considers this possibility. Robert Antone Wilson, author of "Illuminus", also has this blood. There are many others too numerous to list here.

Why is there such a large percentage of negative in these unusual fields? Could we have a vague memory of what we are looking for? It has been said that a question is not asked until the answer is known.

There are about 5000 known blood factors and all of these must contribute to the complete picture. But the Rh negative blood is the place to start our search.

A comparative analysis is now being done and we need your help. If you are reading this, you must be one of the lost children of Israel. Anyone else would not have read this far.

Languages in Samoa, just as everything else there, was varied and a kaleidoscope of differences. At home we spoke Spanish or Basque but out and about was a total different thing. The official languages are Samoan (a language related to both Hawaiin and Indonesian) and English, but other languages are spoken by the various immigrant communities such as Yueh Chinese and Filipino. I learn very fast and have a great memory so as I quickly knew that "yat" and "yi" was the same as the "bat" and "bi" of my Basque language (I have a theory on how all languages may relate to Basque which will post later). English is spoken by nearly everyone, but a somewhat different form than that of America, we had neighbours while Americans have neighbors, and if I tell you that "I got pissed at the bar last night" as means simply that I may have had too many Heinekens for drink and not that I am angry. My English teacher was Australian so I learned many of same words as they using. Part 2 of a series. Tata!

A journey back to 1988, me in the crossroads of East and West a island paradise. I the redheaded Basque child in a land foreign to me, but was ok as I always felt different anyway. In fact I loved it and quickly embraced it, learned the languages and customs, the natives were even envious of my skinny self scurrying up the coconut palm as if I had done it my whole life. I saw so many various peoples here that I learned a tolerance for all people which I am very happy for, it as what makes this world of ours so unique. But the reaches of the Empire were very evident here, and many times as seemed if things would have been better left in their natural way. I spent my days in school and swimming in the turquoise sea. In evenings sometimes able for sneak into the KTV lounge for sing and play mahjong. I realised here that the most valuable thing is for have love and harmony, I saw many poor people who were happy because they had each other, but the officers who were rich yet lonely. Part 1

The memories of the past as seems so overwhelming, the scares of a lost innocence, that tear even at the person of who you are, that tear down your cheek, remembering that last walk on the beach, it was not your fault that it happened as it did, yet the memories you now wish were hid, trying again for remember who you were then... Hope is not lost because through it all I understand, as if you had smiled at me before, and I know you did, you had touched me in the past, bringing me now here in your presence, reuniting again the person of who you are... It is with love that two hearts become as one, I will walk with you, both of us together, just you and me, I will help you stand, it is with us as two hearts as one. Because it is you who did bring me also through that storm of life, I know our love will be true, forever and all eternity.

When you came you were like a flower in spring time, after the winter rain, so hold on to me now... I'll give you everything you want or need, everything you ever dreamed of, I'll be the one to wipe your tears away... The one who will treasure your love, I just want you to know I care... Maite zaitut, you know I miss you...

I'll take your hands, and through all the pain I'll be your man, sweetie, nere maite, ngo oi nei... Please be my sunshine, my flower that will never fade...

If there is light in the soul, There will be beauty in the person. If there is beauty in the person, There will be harmony in the house. If there is harmony in the house, There will be order in the nation. If there is order in the nation, There will be peace in the world.

This was the day that tears came down my face, reading your words as I realised your past days, knowing that I would be with you until the end of days, never backing down from the feelings I have for you, knowing you have so much to gain. It is the magic for which you know, for after all you appeared to me at the time when I most needed, a time even my life was in despair, all was lost, we search our whole life for reason to live, a reason for give of ourselves to another, a reason now for the tears which now fall down my face, for in you is my entire fate.

Alienation is a feeling of not belonging to the common group, for me as felt in so many ways from my language to religion. It is a feeling of being alone in this world with no one who really accepts for who I am. How is feel for being a redheaded Basque, somewhat left-handed, very affectionate and following Asian ways of religion not like any of the family; for us Basque, family is most important, but what if they reject me, that is a pain for which is unbearable for me. But then it was my family who put me in situation for learn about the world and for me now grown to make my own choices. It was not until recent that I had felt that in some miraculous way that maybe was exist a soul same as me. That is when by some random way for encounter Holly, a soul so close to me, with not a word that I can say to describe how wonderful she is, harrituta, neska ederra eta maitea! Someone for who took away the feelings of loneliness and alienation, someone who is my all and everything!

My opinion for us Basques firstly we are an unique cultural and ethnic group with our own language which should be preserved and taught to our future generations. So far as country is concerned, I wish there would be no countries at all, but instead all the people of Earth as one nation living in peace, experiencing and enjoying every other ethnic and language which exist within it. All of us whether Basques or Spanish or any other must soon realise we have a much better thing to do than make borders for ourselves, there is a higher level of life that we can obtain if we realise that we are citizens of our planet and not a country.

If I could make one wish it would be for you... If I could make one wish, if there was a falling star, I would first give you a kiss and whisper in your ears, wipe away your tears to show you that I am near, to protect you from your fears I would wish to be close to you... To hold you tight every night, and I'll give you the strength to fight, I'll be by your side until you see the light and walk the path that's right, I'll always be your guide like an angel by your side... And you know my love for you is true, for this I wish for you.

Basque (Euskara) had a great influence on the Spanish language for example the words izquierda coming from the Basque ezker meaning left (makes me wonder did the Spanish encounter some left handed Basque people, of which there are quite a few), also many place names are from Basque language for example Arizona is from the Basque haritz ona meaning good oak tree. Unfortunately under the Franco regime the language was banned (my grandmother spoke it but my immediate family did not, I being the first for bring the language back) and many names were Castilianised for example Donostia became San Sebastián and Iruña became Pamplona. However, fortunately today there is a resurgence of Basque language being taught in the schools and many Basques abroad are learning about who we are, many indeed even returning to live in the Basque Country (Euskal Herria). As I continue with this history, I wish for everyone to learn who we are, not just the slanted news stories about us, but the truth.

The land of the Basques, an area between Spain and France in the Pyrenees mountains and going down to the bay of Bizkaia; there lives a people who no one really knows our origin. We speak our own unique language, Euskara, which is unlike any other language in Europe or even the world. Some say we are the last survivors of Atlantis, or the original people of this planet, or even perhaps aliens from another world. No one really knows for sure except that our language predates any of the other languages spoken in Europe. And recent genetics have also found us for be different from other people, we have the highest rate of O Rh negative blood type of any group of people (this can be a problem for a woman married to a non Rh negative man, resulting in miscarriage and other problems). This along with our unique language has isolated us from many of other people. Even still our influence has been great in the history of the world, many Basque explorers even helped colonise the New World.

We as search our lives for that meaning of it, why are we here. We can live so many places as I have; Miami, Samoa, Los Angeles or Hawai'i. But yet loneliness can still remain, becauses as we are search for the other half for complete us. I as so many times had opportunity for connect with someone, but never did it because as I believed must exist in this world another soul same as me. Almost the tears came in my eyes as I lay awake at night just for wondering where would she be, I want for love someone and be loved, to share my feelings for another, to touch, hold my hand, and know my feelings deep inside. Words for which I not really know how for say how I feel now, only for realise that someone is there who is needing me and I in return needing them also. As a feeling also that I will wipe the tears from their eyes and hold her in my arms. Buddha has said that we are as we think and so it will be; so also I hope in my life and the life of the person for who I love so dearly!
